The Doomsday Clock

The doomsday clock (otherwise known as the midnight clock) represents the likelihood of a man
made tragedy in the form of how far we are from "midnight". Midnight is a world ending event.

Originally started as a representation of weaponized scientific & technological advancement,
the clock now shows multiple different aspects of humanity's self-inflicted wounds, including climate change.

Since it's creation the clock has been set 19 different times, with its current position being 85
seconds to midnight.

While the clock does cause distress, it is a reminder of what humanity has done to the world. Unlike a regular clock, the doomsday clock can go back in time, as it has many times in history. If we work together we might be able to have a peaceful sleep instead of worrying up at the threat of midnight.
